British fingerstyle guitarist Clive Carrollcites a number of musical influences that go beyond folk or classical – although both of those are certainly part of his repertoire. Listen closely and you can hear echoes of everything from heavy metal to southern blues.
"I like to mess around on the guitar," Carroll says. "I love the guitar and there's endless textural possibilities and beautiful sounds."
Carroll is in Milwaukee this week to teach workshops at the UWM fingerstyle guitar program and will perform Thursday night at the Zelazo Center as a part of MKE Unplugged.
