Friday on Lake Effect: 'Spirit of the Open Road' Exhibit, 'There Are No Grown-Ups,' Bubbler Talk

Friday on Lake Effect:

The late Matthew Hintz was a licensed artist for Harley-Davidson until his death in December. We look at a retrospective of his paintings and illustrations presented by his alma mater, MIAD. Later, author Pamela Druckerman discusses her book, There Are No Grown-Ups: A Midlife Coming-of-Age Story. A local anti-hunger activist explains her inspiration for writing books for young readers. Plus, Bubbler Talk explores the origins of some local place names.

Guests:

  • Adam Meuer, curator, Matthew Hintz: Spirit of the Open Road
  • Pamela Druckerman, author, There Are No Grown-Ups: A Midlife Coming-of-Age Story
  • Rayna Andrews, author, Alex McGreen and the Tale of the Mysterious Kale!
