Lake Effect Weekend: Will Allen, Ethical Religious Directives Impact, Radio Chipstone, Ex Fabula

This weekend on Lake Effect:

Following last year's demise of Growing Power, urban farmer Will Allen reinvents himself (sort of). Then a study looks at how ethical religious directives impact the health of black women giving birth at Catholic hospitals. Radio Chipstone visits a haunted house just in time for Halloween, and we have the latest in our storytelling series Ex Fabula.

Guests:

  • Will Allen, Will's Roadside Farms & Markets; Susan Bence, WUWM enviornmental reporter
  • Kira Shepherd, director of Columbia Law School’s Racial Justice Program at the Public Rights Private Conscience Project; LaToya Dennis, WUWM
  • Melonie, Brendon & Cooper Smith, haunted house hosts; Gianofer Fields, material culture contributor
  • Leah DeLaney, Ex Fabula co-founder; Bruce Winer, WUWM
