Tuesday on Lake Effect: Across The Red and Blue Divide, 'Boy Erased', Vacation and Volunteering

Tuesday on Lake Effect:

We listen to our Across the Red and Blue Divide discussion, recorded last week. Called "You've Voted: Now What?," the forum asked what bipartisanship looks like in a state divided almost exactly in half by ideology. We hear from the leaders of the Future Caucus; Wisconsin's only bipartisan legislative caucus. Then, a conversation about the new film, Boy Erased, and the controversial practice of gay conversion therapy, which seeks to convert homosexuals into heterosexuals. Plus we learn how you can add volunteerism to the mix during your next vacation.

Guests:

  • Adam Neylon (R) & Amanda Stuck (D), Wisconsin Assembly, and Steven Olikara, Millennial Action Project
  • Ryan Jay, film critic and Joel Edgerton, actor and director
  • Andrea Khan, The Family Backpack
