Senator Herb Kohl Democratic Senator Herb Kohl is currently in his fourth term representing Wisconsin. He was born and raised in Milwaukee. Kohl is the Chairman of the Special Committee on Aging in the Senate. He spoke with WUWM's Dave Edwards. Navigating the public mental health care system can be a nightmare for some people in need. Freelance writer Denise Lockwood has the story of one woman’s struggle for treatment.
