Brenda Gorman, Maura Moyle, and Sue Berman direct Marquette University's Wisconsin Reading Acquisition Program, which links literacy with speech development. Brenda Gorman, Maura Moyle and Sue Berman all teach in the speech pathology and audiology program at Marquette University, and direct the Wisconsin Reading Acquisition Program. They spoke with Mitch Teich in May. Last year, WRAP received a four million dollar federal grant for its work on early literacy efforts. Brenda Gorman begins by explaining the link between the two disciplines.
