Kristela Cervera and Dominique Beck are the two newest Milwaukee Municipal Court commissioners. Both are lawyers who've advocated for the poor and minorities in their practices, and both are graduates of Wisconsin law schools. Derek Mosley is a Milwaukee Municipal Court judge. Benjamin Percy is author of the award-winning story Refresh, Refresh, included in The Best American Short Stories 2006, and The Language of Elk, a collection of stories. His piece in Esquire magazine appears in the February issue. Percy is a visiting assistant professor at Marquette.
