Howard Schnoll is a financial consultant and senior vice president of RBC Dain Rauscher, and the Chairman of the Summerfest Board of Directors. He'll retire from that position when this year's festival ends July 8th.
On a Sun is the McWilliam brothers from Whitefish Bay - John, Michael and Thomas. Their acoustic set for us was engineered by WUWM's Tom May. They'll be performing in their fully electrified glory tonight at 9:30 on the Harley Stage at Summerfest. The group played a third song, "Precious Lamb," for us in the Lake Effect studio, which you can listen to below.
Jim Luljac is the technical director for Summerfest. He spoke with Bonnie North at the Summerfest grounds on Monday. Jim and his band of techies from Milwaukee's Stage Hands Union, Local 18, are the folks you see in black running around the Summerfest stages making sure the sound is audible, the bands are visible and nothing falls off or through the stage.
