Milwaukee real estate magnate Joseph Zilber, founded Milwaukee's Towne Realty in 1949, and is currently chairman of Zilber Ltd. His private enterprise extends from Florida to Wisconsin to Hawaii, where he lives much of the year. he spoke with Jane Hampden last month. Joseph Zilber, who will be 90 in November, announced this week that his charitable foundation will donate 50 million dollars to Milwaukee insitutions, organizations, and charities, including 30 million to the Marquette University Law School.
Ron Carlson is the author of the novel, Five Skies. The novel was published earlier this year, but continues to attract attention - including a glowing review in the New York Times Book Review last Sunday.
