Christine Nuernberg is mayor of Mequon and a fundraiser for the Mequon Nature Preserve.  She takes Jane Hampden on a tour of the preserve, which is supported by the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust, the City of Mequon and the Greater Milwaukee Committee. The master plan calls for restoration of the area’s rolling landscape to its 1830s condition, featuring wetlands and native plants. The interview first aired on Lake Effect September 5th.

"Caribou Migration I" by Subhankar Banerjee, from the series "Oil and the Carabou," 2002 Lisa Hostetler is associate curator of photographs at the Milwaukee Art Museum. She curated the new exhibit, Photographs from the Ends of the Earth, which runs through December 24th. Subhankar Banjeree is a photographer who lives in Santa Fe; his photographs are included in the exhibit. They speak with Mitch Teich.  Hostetler will host a gallery talk about the exhibit on October 16th.
