Sam Osterhout and Geoff Herbach are among the founders of the Lit 6 Project, a Minneapolis-based group that’s out to make literature – and book readings – more accessible to everyone. They’ve stage performances in venues across the midwest, and beyond – and they produce a radio show that airs on Minnesota Public Radio. Herbach’s also the author of a new novel, called The Miracle Letters of T. Rimberg – we’ll hear about that, later in the show.
Lake Effect contributor Paul Kosidowski writes the Culture Club column at Milwaukeemagazine.com. He joins Bonnie North each Friday for a look at the Milwaukee arts scene.
Milwaukee actors Laura Gray and Jonathan West appear in the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre production of Talley’s Folly, through May 4th. They spoke with Bonnie North.
Russ Tronsen and his Badger High School chef team compete today, but will have to wait until tomorrow to find out if they’re captured the national culinary prize, at the ProStart Invitational in San Diego. Lake Effect’s Susan Bence produced our feature.
Geoff Herbach grew up in Platteville, and went to UW-Madison. He lives now in the Twin Cities. His new book is called The Miracle Letters of T Rimberg, and it’s published by Three Rivers Press.
