Mike Doran is commander of one of two crews that will be assigned to the USS Freedom, the first in a new class of combat ships being built for the US Navy. It’s being constructed in Marinette, Wisconsin – it’ll be commissioned in Milwaukee on November 8th. Our interview first aired last year. You can view a video of the Freedom’s christening here.
