Dan Devine grew up in Racine. He was elected to his first term as mayor of West Allis in April, taking over after the retirement of longtime mayor Jeannette Bell. Devine, who is the second-youngest mayor in West Allis history, served as a Milwaukee County supervisor before his election this spring.
