Rick Perlstein is an award winning historian and author. His book Nixonland: The Rise of a President and the Fracturing of America was published by Scribner this year and was named a New York Times notable book of 2008. Perlstein grew up in Milwaukee, and now lives in Chicago. He spoke to Bonnie North in July.
Junot Diaz is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. He is an associate professor of creative writing at MIT. He spoke with Stephanie Lecci before his appearance at the Milwaukee Book Festival in October.
