Howie Magner is Lake Effect’s regular sports contributor.  He writes the Sports Nut column for Milwaukee Magazine's website, and is associate editor for the magazine.  This month, he and Mitch Teich talk about the hazy future of the Milwaukee Bucks season, the successes of the Marquette basketball season, and the Brewers' new closer.

Since our interview was recorded, we've learned that the Bucks' Andrew Bogut will be shelved for eight weeks with a back injury, and that pitcher-without-a-team Ben Sheets may have elbow surgery.
