Polar explorer Eric Larsen hopes to spread his message for environmental policy reform while undertaking some chilling adventures to the North & South poles and Mt. Everest. Abby Vogen Horn is senior project manager for the Daylighting Collaborative, a project of the Madison-based Energy Center of Wisconsin. She was in Milwaukee recently to speak at the Wisconsin Renewable Energy Summit. Our interview first aired in April. She explains the central guiding principle behind daylighting is saving energy.

Robin Hemley is the author of Do-Over! In which a forty-eight-year-old father of three returns to kindergarten, summer camp, the prom, and other embarrassments, published by Little, Brown and Company. Hemley also directs the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa. He tells us about his attempt to experience his childhood milestones again – but through the filter of his 48 years of life.
