Bill Schmitt is the Head of Office for Catholic Relief Services in Bamiyan, Afghanistan. Schmitt grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Marquette University. He returns to the country within the month and will be in Afghanistan for that country’s upcoming elections.
Pam Mehnert is the General Manager at Outpost Natural Foods and president of Our Milwaukee; Nancy Quinn is in on the staff of Our Milwaukee – the business alliance is undertaking a campaign called Join Us in Making the Switch, which asks Milwaukeeans to spend one-tenth of their consumer dollars locally.

Doug Russell is the sports director and co-host of "The Doug & Mike Show" on WSSP-AM 1250. He's also a contributing writer to Milwaukee Magazine. His article "Green Acres," on golf culture in Wisconsin, is in the current issue of the magazine.
Andy Pafko grew up in Boyceville, Wisconsin. He broke into the major leagues in 1943 with the Chicago Cubs, playing 17 seasons for the Cubs, Brooklyn Dodgers, and Milwaukee Braves, before retiring 50 years ago. We spoke with Andy Pafko from his home in Mount Prospect, Ill. Stephanie Lecci field produced our segment.
