Carl Kurlander is the writer, director, and producer of My Tale of Two Cities, a personal documentary about the effort to turn around the fortunes of his hometown – Pittsburgh. Kurlander’s movie was just featured in Milwaukee during the meeting of the International Downtown Association.
Dave Ellis is the Chief Legal Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives. He’s also the author of six mystery novels, the latest of which is The Hidden Man, published by Penguin. He lives in Springfield, Illinois.
Jacki Potratz is the fiction selector for the Milwaukee Public Library. The Milwaukee Book Festival runs Oct. 9th through the 19th, and the Central Library will be hosting a vampire-themed discussion on Tuesday Oct. 13th.
