Fulbright scholar Chris Halberg grew up in Wauwatosa. He graduated from Marquette University in the spring. He’s leaving for El Salvador at the end of this month to conduct his Fulbright-funded research on successful development programs. Halberg will be sending us the occasional sound postcard during the 10 months he’ll be away, which we’re looking forward to hearing.
Gay Reinartz is the conservation coordinator for the Milwaukee County Zoological Society - and directs a program called the Bonobo and Congo Biodiversity Initiative. She first spoke with Lake Effect's Mitch Teich in August.
