Clive Svendsen was recently named the director of the new Cedars-Sinai Regenerative Medicine Institute in Los Angeles, effective next month. He's currently the joint leader of the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center at the University of Wisconsin. He spoke with Mitch Teich. Svendsen's work focuses on the role of stem cell therapies in neurodegenerative disorders such as ALS. He will retain a consulting appointment in Madison.
