Milwaukee-born writer and historian John Gurda is a regular Lake Effect contributor. He’s the author of nineteen books, the latest of which is One People, Many Paths: A History of Jewish Milwaukee, which was just published. John Gurda will chat about the book at a launch party at the Jewish Museum Milwaukee tomorrow from 5-7.
Melinda Myers is the author of numerous books on gardening, including Month-by-Month Gardening in Wisconsin and Small Space Gardening. She’s a regular contributor to Lake Effect.
