Amy Drendel is a doctor in the emergency department at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She’s the lead author of a study on pain treatment of children with arm fractures, which appears in a recent issue of the Annals of Emergency Medicine.
Will Durst, a.k.a., the Lieutenant Governor from the State of Confusion, is a political satirist and comedian originally from Milwaukee. He now lives in San Francisco. He's a regular contributor to Lake Effect, and author of the book The All-American Sport of Bipartisan Bashing.
Milwaukee-based painter Pat Hidson is one of more than 50 local artists participating in The Intimate Page exhibition at the Portrait Society gallery in Milwaukee’s 3rd Ward. It opens Friday evening.
