Katie Krueger grew up in Wauwatosa; she now lives in Madison. Her book is called Give With Gratitutde: Lessons Learned Listening to West Africa. Krueger spent a year living in Senegal, thanks to a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. She and two other scholars founded a sustainable program that assists a grade school in Senegal.
