Thandeka Chapman is an associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at UWM. Phyllis Richards is the president of Parents Advocating for Cultural Equality and Educational Excellence, also known as PACE³. The organization is part of a larger Consortium on Equity and Excellence in Education with five suburban school districts and the Cardinal Stritch Leadership Center. They spoke with Stephanie Lecci.

Tiffany Miller is a 2009 Milwaukee Teaching Fellow. She is now teaching in a special education classroom at James Madison Academic Campus in Milwaukee while she is studying for her teaching certification.
