BadgerCare Plus Begins

Wisconsin's new BadgerCare Plus program is expected to encourage more low-income parents to get preventative medical care for their children. Premiums for health coverage will range from $10 to $68 a month, based on how much a family earns. The CEO of the 16th Street Community Health Center in Milwaukee, John Bartkowski, is excited about the program. He spoke with WUWM's Ann-Elise Henzl.
