The Wisconsin Supreme Court Tuesday ruled in favor of a group of Madison taverns. They had been accused of price-fixing after agreeing to eliminate drink specials on weekends. What made the case unusual is that only four members of the state high court made the decision. The other three excused themselves from the case. Mike McCabe says it’s a consequence of the big money that’s entered judicial races. McCabe is director of the government watchdog group, Wisconsin Democracy Campaign. He told WUWM’s Marge Pitrof that the public is now left with unanswered questions.
