President Barack Obama called Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett Monday to commend him for his bravery. Barrett was beaten Saturday night while leaving State Fair. He had stepped in to help a woman who was screaming, asking for someone to call 911. The man who was bothering the woman attacked Barrett, shattering his hand, injuring his face, and knocking out two teeth. A suspect has been arrested. Barrett was released from the hospital Monday.
