The funeral for the second of two Wisconsin soldiers killed at Fort Hood will be held this afternoon in the tiny town of Wonewoc, Wisconsin. The Juneau County community, west of Wisconsin Dells, was the hometown of Army Reserve Captain Russell Seager. The 51 year old Seager and 29 year old Army S/Sgt Amy Krueger of Kiel were both killed November 5 when a gunman opened fire on troops at a processing center at Fort Hood in Texas.

All state and U.S. flags on government property are flying at half staff today in honor of Capt. Seager.

Seager taught nursing at Bryant & Stratton College in Milwaukee and worked at the Zablocki VA Medical Center.

A memorial service for Seager will be held at the VA chapel at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
