Another Homecoming for Wisconsin Guardsmen By Bob Bach
January 13, 2010 | WUWM | Milwaukee, WI
Another homecoming is slated for this afternoon for state National Guard members. Five hundred soldiers from the 32nd Infantry Brigade will touch down at Volk Field this afternoon. About 32-hundred members of the Brigade plus other units left for a 10 month tour of duty in Iraq last February. The deployment was the largest for the Wisconsin National Guard since World War II. Troops are returning in stages throughout this month.
