The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department collaborated with local municipalities overnight Sunday to stop drivers from operating vehicles while intoxicated. The special deployment of the Multi-Jurisdictional OWI task force was deployed from 8:00 p.m. Sunday until 4:00 a.m. Monday.
The task force arrested 29 people. One 49-year-old male from Lyndon Station was arrested for his sixth OWI. Criminal charges are pending.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department says the average alcohol concentration was .15. The highest was .21.
