A rail line in Kenosha County is closed temporarily, because of a derailment. Union Pacific says a train on its way to South St. Paul derailed 24 cars at Pleasant Prairie early Monday afternoon. No one was injured.

Twenty of the train's cars were empty. The remaining four were loaded, with wheat, plywood and plant fertilizer.

Work crews are expected to work overnight, to remove the railcars and replace 800 feet of damaged track. Other trains that use the line will be detoured.

The cause of the derailment is being investigated.
