Like Café Tonight, Saturday at the Café is decidedly adult, alternative by definition, with just enough local spice and flavor from area musicians. We're always trying to connect one song with another - historical, similar instrumentation or lyrical topics, or as simple as the same title.
What make us distinctively different is that the music is hand-selected each day, by a real music-loving human being. As hosts, we try to give you just enough information, and then get out of the way and let the music play. We honestly believe we have taken the best elements of progressive FM radio of years gone by, combined that with the best of today's music, given it a friendly presentation, let it simmer for 2 hours, and voila – Saturday at the Café.
