Cheryl Locher

Cheryl joined WUWM in March 2012 as the manager of finance and administration. In August 2022, she was named part of the station's interim general manager team.

She began her career in 1996 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s University Police Department serving as the police communications supervisor.

Prior to joining WUWM, Cheryl held positions at UW-Milwaukee serving as the business manager with the Student Activities Office and, most recently, as the research program manager with the Rehabilitation Research Design & Disability (R2D2) Center.

At WUWM, Cheryl is responsible for the daily administrative and business functions of the radio station.

Cheryl received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University. She earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the UW–Milwaukee. And, she received a Graduate Certificate in Mediation and Negotiation from the UW–Milwaukee.
