People familiar with comedian Lewis Black's work might think that Wisconsin's swing-state status makes it a dangerous place to perform.
The self-described socialist is also an avid political commentator and the ACLU’s voting rights ambassador. But it’s not the politics that make performing in Wisconsin hazardous to his health. It’s the drinking. He describes a night where he and a group of Wisconsinites reached bar close.
"I'm feeling good, I drank and I hung in there ... I'm feeling really proud of myself, and then said, 'We're closing the doors now, and now we're going to go upstairs and really drink. And I realized, 'Wow, I'm not - I'm just not a professional,' " says Black.
