Deadline Today in Assembly Special Eelection

Nomination papers from candidates seeking the 21st Assembly District seat a due today.

A primary election for the 21st Assembly district seat will be held October 22, if more than one candidate submits nomination papers. The forms are due today. Governor Scott Walker ordered a special election in the district that covers the South Milwaukee and Oak Creek areas following the departure of Republican Mark Honadel. Honadel left the legislature for a job in the private sector. He represented the area since 2003. The special election will be held November 19.
