'Every Brilliant Thing' Is A Two-Man Show, With The Audience As A Central Character

On the page, Every Brilliant Thing is a one-man show. In reality, the audience each night plays a crucial role in how the show unfolds. Audience participation is mandatory. Although, its star Scott Greer says you can say "no," as long as someone says yes.

The story is very simple: it's about a man and his mother, and their relationship. It's poignant, powerful, and funny — even though it deals with difficult subjects, like depression. The play opens Friday, April 12, and runs through May 5, at the Milwaukee Rep.
