Saturday the 21st of June marks this years Summer Solstice.

After a long winter of what felt like Wisconsin’s own “Polar Vortex,” it’s time to escape from under our roofs and enjoy the longest day of the year. 

This Saturday is the Summer Solstice. Regular contributor and Director of the Manfred Olson Planetarium  Jean Creighton talks with Bonnie North about the historical importance of marking the solstices.
