Authorities say one person is dead and several others are injured, after a huge pileup on Interstate 41 southbound near Neenah on Sunday. The crash happened amid whiteout conditions.
The Winnebago County Sheriff's office confirms one fatality and says several other injured people were taken to hospitals. Police reportedly used buses to get people off the highway and to safe locations.
I-41 Southbound remains closed near Neenah and authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area.

Update: Police have removed everyone from the multi-vehicle crash on I-41 in Neenah. 1 fatality. Numerous injured transported to hospitals. I41 will be CLOSED multiple hours.
