Over the past year, President Donald Trump has been all over the headlines. On the front pages, certainly - but also in places you might not have expected, like the sports section, when he weighed in on controversies in the NFL. And of course, he can be found all over Twitter, as well.

But it’s not just the United States where Donald Trump is compelling news. People in nations like the United Kingdom have found the hotel mogul, turned Commander-in-Chief, is dominating the news cycle.

"If you tuned in to one of the stations right now... I can guarantee they'll probably be talking about Trump. Something he said, his policy, how it's affecting the UK."

"If you tuned in to one of the stations right now... I can guarantee they’ll probably be talking about Trump. Something he said, his policy, how it’s affecting the UK," says Connor Gillies, a reporter based in Glasgow, Scotland, whose work is carried around Great Britain.

Gillies has been stationed in Milwaukee this week to explore the impact of President Trumps' first year in office. He specifically wanted to spend time in Wisconsin because of the results of the 2016 election.

"I came to this state thinking, 'Everyone here is pro-Trump; I'm going to arrive here and everyone that I meet is going to be [a] mega-supporter of Donald Trump.' That is not the case and I was quite shocked, actually, when I arrived here and I found it quite difficult for the first few days to find people who were in support of Donald Trump," he says.
