Gov. Scott Walker has a healthy start, heading into what's expected to be his 2014 bid for re-election. According to the numbers he filed Monday, he's raised $3.5 million so far in 2013.

Last year, during the same six month period, he raised only $474,000.

Democrats have not yet put forward candidates for next year's race. However, one person mentioned as a possibility is Mary Burke, a Madison businesswoman and former Wisconsin commerce secretary.

Candidate Walker reports spending nearly $2 million during the first-half of 2013, on political expenses.
