Milwaukee Sued, Because of Alleged Police Strip Searches

Five men, who say Milwaukee police strip searched them, are suing the city, several officers and Police Chief Flynn. Wisconsin prohibits officers from conducting cavity searches.

One officer has been convicted of conducting illegal searches. Three others still face charges.

The federal lawsuits the men have filed do not specify an amount of damages they're seeking.

In Wisconsin, only doctors, physician's assistants and registered nurses can conduct searches of rectal and genital areas, on people suspected of committing crimes.
