Thursday on Lake Effect:
A Wisconsin born author tells the story of the eldest Kennedy sibling, Rosemary, in her new book, The Missing Kennedy. Rosemary was physically and developmentally disabled, and was lobotomized as a young woman. Then, WUWM’s Susan Bence reports on the collision between the preservation of habitat and historical architecture with new development at the Eschweiler-built complex at the county grounds. We talk with two editors from UWM’s Cream City Review about the journal’s 40th anniversary and we hear a tune from singer-songwriter Joan Shelley.
Guests:
- Elizabeth Koehler-Pentacoff, author
- Susan Bence, WUWM Environmental Reporter
- Loretta McCormick & Mollie Boutell, Cream City Review
- Joan Shelley, singer-songwriter
