Tuesday, 11/28/23: Moss Universal Park, Milwaukee’s housing market, Cream City bricks, non-alcoholic beverages

Today on Lake Effect, we learn about the effort to build the first-of-its-kind Moss Universal Park in Milwaukee. Then, we look at Milwaukee’s housing market, and how much has changed for todays’ home buyers. We speak with a historic preservationist about the history of Cream City bricks and what they might be made of. Plus, we learn about what’s changed in the non-alcoholic beverage market within the last few years.

Guests:

  • Damian Buchman, executive director of the Ability Center
  • Rob Stafslien, director of single-family lending at the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority
  • Andrew Stern, senior planner of historic preservation for the City of Milwaukee
  • Guy Rehorst, founder of Great Lakes Distillery and Boundless Beverages
