Wednesday on Lake Effect: State Budget, Combating Anti-Semitism, 'The Harley-Davidson Story'

Wednesday on Lake Effect:

The Wisconsin Policy Forum says the state will need a big increase in revenue to keep funding the programs it already supports. We take a look at the challenges of the budget as the state transitions to new gubernatorial leadership. Then, how German society of today compares to the rise of Nazism in the 1930s. Plus a new book tells the history of Harley Davidson in a distinctive way, and Stacy DeKeyser’s recent middle-grade novel is based in part on her dad’s stories of growing up in 1940s Milwaukee.

Guests:

  • Jason Stein, Wisconsin Policy Forum
  • Deidre Berger, AJC’s Berlin Ramer Institute for German-Jewish Relations director
  • Aaron Frank, author, The Harley-Davidson Story: Tales from the Archives; Jim Fricke, Harley Davidson Museum curatorial director
  • Stacy DeKeyser, author, The Rhino in Right Field
