Wednesday on Lake Effect: MPS Superintendent, 'This Prison Where I Live', 1918 Harley Returns Home

Wednesday on Lake Effect:

It’s not the first back-to-school time for Keith Posley, but it is his first as MPS superintendent. We hear about his ambitious plans for the district. Then, local playwright Angela Iannone talks about her play, "This Prison Where I Live", and why the life of 19th century American actor Edwin Booth makes such compelling drama. And while Harley-Davidson riders are celebrating the company’s 115th anniversary this weekend, a Frenchman is riding a 100-year-old Harley to mark the anniversary of World War I’s end. Plus, we remember the late UWM History Professor Emeritus Glen Jeansonne, who died earlier this week.

Guests:

  • Keith Posley, MPS
  • Angela Iannone, Cory Jefferson Hagen, & Jared McDaris, This Prison Where I Live
  • Christophe de Goulaine, 1918 Harley
  • Glen Jeansonne, UWM History Professor Emeritus
