A pizza box, an old T-shirt, a burned-out lightbulb. This all goes into the trash bin, right?

Well, not quite.

Putting all of your plastic, glass and paper in the recycling bin might make you feel good. But unfortunately, that's not how it works.

It can be overwhelming to keep track of all the ways to “properly” dispose of things. So, send me your questions about recycling, reusing or garbage. I want to help you feel confident that what you throw away lands where it belongs.
