The Bronzeville Arts Ensemble is celebrating Bronzeville Week with a special performance tonight at 7pm, at King Drive Commons Gallery & Studio on 2775 N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. The ensemble will present an evening of poems, monologues, songs, and scenes inspired by the Bronzeville jazz era.
Sheri Williams Pannell, a founding member of the Bronzeville Arts Ensemble, is directing the performance tonight. She spoke with Rachel Owens about the mission of the Bronzeville Arts Ensemble, its celebration of Bronzeville Week, and the power of art to heal and inspire.
