Democrats trying to shake off last month's loss in the presidential race will meet this week to go over the rules to elect a new DNC Chair. The current chair is not running for reelection.

Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler says he’s the right person to lead the party’s effort across the nation.

Wikler is one of at least four candidates running to be chair of the Democratic National Committee. The election is scheduled for February 1, 2025.

In the audio below, WUWM’s Chuck Quirmbach talks with Wikler to find out why he’s running and what he hopes to achieve.
