Congressional leaders announced Thursday that a hearing into reports of overmedication at the local VA Center will be held in Tomah.
The Medical Center is already under investigation by the Veterans Affairs Office of the Inspector General and the VA's Secretary of Health.
In addition, Democratic Attorney Marc Elias says he will represent Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin in a case involving Baldwin's former deputy state director.
Marquette Baylor was fired last month amid allegations that Baldwin's office didn't respond appropriately to reports of overmedication at the center.
Elias says Baylor was terminated for performance issues.
Also on Thursday, the Republican Party of Wisconsin filed an ethics complaint against Baldwin, for her handling of the matter.
Baldwin reportedly offered Baylor a severance which included a confidentiality clause. Baylor turned down the package.
RPW filed a complaint with the Senate Select Committee on Ethics, alleging massive cover up on Baldwin's part and misappropriation of taxpayer funds.
