This weekend on Lake Effect:

John Gurda has become synonymous with Milwaukee history, but today we’ll talk to him about his own history. Then, we talk with the medical director of the Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin Inclusion Health Clinic, the first here to focus on the needs of the LGBTQ community. Plus we chat with the painter Marc Chagall’s granddaughter about his circus works currently on view in Milwaukee.

Guests:

  • John Gurda, historian
  • Dr. Andrew Petroll, Medical Director of the Froedtert and Medical College Inclusion Clinic
  • Bella Meyer, granddaughter of artist Marc Chagall; Spike Barkin, son of Ben Barkin (one of the founders of Milwaukee's Great Circus Parade)
